Downtown Parking Committee

Appointed By: City Manager
Length of term: Appointments are for three years with staggered terms.
Meetings: Second Monday of the month at 4 p.m. in the Small Conference Room of City Hall.

Duties:
Advisory committee created by the Longview City Council to investigate, study, and make recommendations relative to the need for, use, and limitations of use of off-street and on-street parking facilities serving the commercial and residential areas bounded by 15th Avenue, 11th Avenue, Florida Street, and Vandercook Way, or as amended by request of the City Manager or by vote of the committee.  Meets regularly to conduct its activities, and reviews requests for changes in parking regulations and limitations making recommendations to the City Manager.
