HOME Program

The HOME Investment Partnership Program is funded through a    federal entitlement grant from the Department of Housing and Urban  Development which comes to the City of Longview annually.  The  entitlement area is comprised of the City of Longview and City of Kelso  which act as a Consortium to provide affordable housing in each city.

Public and private agencies may apply for grants or loans for various  housing projects which they design to expand the supply of decent, safe,  sanitary, and affordable housing for very low income and low income families.

Programs include Home ownership, Homeowner Rehabilitation, Rental Housing Improvement and Development, and Tenant Based Rental Assistance for special needs categories.  These programs are available for individuals and families to apply for through our partnering agencies.
