Are you ready for some Grownup fun?
The Longview, Kelso, Kalama, Castle Rock, and Woodland public libraries invite you to fire up your library cards, read something, and win some fantastic prizes.
“Fire it Up!” the winter reading program where adults can win prizes – just for reading – is back and even better than last year! Each participating library will be offering weekly prize drawings with THREE county-wide grand prizes. The contest starts January 20 and ends February 28, 2014. Anyone 18 years and older is eligible to participate. To enter, read or listen to a book or magazine, fill out an entry form with your information and a short summary of what you read, and then drop it off at your local library.
Entry forms will be available at the Longview, Kelso, Kalama, Castle Rock, and Woodland libraries or downloadable from the libraries’ web pages beginning January 20, 2014. You do not need a library card to participate. You can enter as many times as you want – one entry form per book/magazine. The more you read, the more entries you can submit.
Fire up that library card for your chance to win great prizes donated by local businesses and to be eligible to win one of three grand prizes – a Kindle Fire, $200 in gift certificates, or a $200 outdoor package. Who says we don’t know how to have fun? The grown-ups of Cowlitz County know that Reading is HOT!
This program has been made possible by generous donations from the Friends of the Longview Library, Rotary, Longview Library Foundation, Altrusa Longview/Kelso. Our libraries thank you for your support.
